Iconic Film Posters
- Natasha
Iconic film posters are shown above, movies such as Jaws, Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, The Silence of the Lambs, Kill Bill, The Godfather and Star Wars. In all posters there is a central image, accompanied by a background of either a block colour or a background scene. The format of the posters relates to the genre, for example, Star Wars is Sci-Fi, therefore an illustration is used as a result of the fantasy.
Iconic Horror film posters are shown above, such as Carrie, Scanners, Scream, The Beast Within, It, Friday the 13th and The Exorcist. All posters clearly relate to the horror genre, with the use of a black, red and white colour scheme clearly creating a sinister image of danger, death and darkness. The film titles are all clearly portrayed, with a bright colour over a black background, or a white background presenting a title with black accents in order to stand out. A central image with horror iconography is portrayed in each poster, with the image relating to the synopsis of the movies.
Iconic Horror film posters involving dolls are shown above, including The Abandoned, Pinocchio's Revenge, Poltergeist, Robert, Dolls, Bride of Chucky, Heidi, Annabelle, Child's Play and Dead Silence. All include a central antagonist with a dark background, with the colour scheme red white and black being highlighted in addition to attributes typical of horror movie posters.
