From research into the dialogue typically used in horror trailers, it was understood that scripting can be kept minimal, with the use of mise en scene and music portraying the story of the trailer, avoiding over-explaining the occurrences. For example, in the 1 minute and 15 second trailer for Incidious only 31 seconds of dialogue was used. The use of narration will be avoided in our trailer due to the limitations of the actors and their skills in believably portraying the character, in addition to narration not fitting with the trailer synopsis.

The only line verbalised in the trailer will be 'I found something weird in the attic'.
