The doll's hands have been photoshopped to have blood dripping down them. This reinforces the idea of danger and evil.
The eyes of the doll have been photoshopped black and red, this convey's evil, with black eyes being a stereotypical convention of the horror genre. In addition, red has been photoshopped to the cracked mouth of the doll, creating an image that it is sore. The wound reflects the conventions I found when researching horror movie posters, such as the wounded hand in the poster for 'Dead Silence'. The vibrance and brightness of the image has been decreased and the contrast increased, creating a ore dramatic image. The background was removed photoshopped to appear black as reflecting my research.

This image was taken from a cropped version of the movie poster.
The poster was created using Adobe Photoshop.
All text was created using Photoshop's text tool.
The tagline is 'the voices will consume you'. This correlates to the titles used in the trailer, a feature seen to be heavily utilised when researching horror movie posters.
The alteration of the size of the text reflects the conventions found in the movie poster for the film 'Insidious'
The blur of the words shown behind the text in the poster's tagline and title reflect the ghostly image found in the movie poster for 'Dead Silence', with it's text effect inspiring the typography in the poster for 'The Voices Within'. This was achieved by duplicating the text and locating it on a layer below the original, and then adding a motion blur. This effect was also added behind the doll figure.
The font used is the same font used in the trailer, a feature commonly used as discovered through the research of the posters for 'Insidious' and 'Annabelle'.
The colour scheme appears to be red, white and black. This connotes horror and follows the typical conventions of a horror movie poster.
