From this analysis i can determine how to compose my photoshoot in order for it to realisticly mimic the style of a music magazine.

 

Common trends which I have observed is that the photographs portray a theme or style relating to the artist and their genre. In addition, the photographs are taken in the same clothing, expression/pose style and setting so as not to make the double page spread seem disjointed from the front cover. Lastly, I have noticed that in some magazines the main article's subject does not appear on the contents page, and on others with multiple pages which are used to display the contents they are. This will advise my contents page design.
