Double Page Spread First Draft and Feedback

Feedback
These are the points made with regards to feedback for my first double page spread.
  • Background is effective.
  • The fonts used are appealing and aesthetically pleasing
  • The subheading could be shorter, possibly in line with the headline.
  • The box around pull quote changed, maybe made bigger to frame the text more.
  • The free space beside the icon on the right could be altered in order to make it look less empty.
  • Where the text 'interview' is to colouring could be more purple to match the dress.
  • The boarder provides an effective piece of page furniture.
Feedback
These are the points made with regards to feedback for my second double page spread.

  • The text for the main article is difficult to read, consider altering the font or the sizing.

  • The bozes around the pull quotes are too close, consider expanding this so that they are more visible.

  • It is effective how the text is shaped around the model

 

  • The background colourings help to contrast text colourings and therefore make it stand out more.

  • The text all seems very similar, consider including another font.

  • The negative spacing around the back of the model makes this part of the page seem empty and this is something which could be adressed to make the page seem more filled.
